What are the big issues that COP28 needs to address? What are your hopes for the negotiations?

Where to start (or end)? Issues include: Solid political messages from the global stocktake. Agreement on the loss and damage fund. Firmer language and consensus on phasing out fossil fuels. New ideas and progress on methane. And perhaps above all, evidence that climate action isn’t being totally put off track by deepening geopolitical tensions and conflicts.

What’s your message for world leaders at COP28?

If you don’t do this, then change will have to happen in ways you’ll like even less.
