The city of Leeds welcomes around 2.5 million delegates annually to conferences and events. In July 2025, an international community of delegates will convene in Leeds for the Scenarios Forum, which is being hosted by the University of Leeds and the Priestley Centre for Climate Futures.

With accommodation options available on the University campus and across the city of Leeds, the conference planning team has compiled a range of options for delegates' stay in Leeds - each aligning with our mission to make the Scenarios Forum a more sustainable kind of conference.

Leeds City Centre hosts a total of 10,031 bedrooms with the majority – 2,636 – being 4-star. The University of Leeds’ accommodation accounts for more than double this, at 5,252 rooms. A further 22 hotel developments are in the pipeline for supplying further rooms for visitors to Leeds according to Conference Leeds.

We are extremely lucky to host our very own 4-star accommodation on campus and have reserved a limited number of rooms for the Scenarios Forum 2025 at Storm Jameson Court. Storm Jameson has been awarded the Green Tourism Gold award and the Goldstar for Campus accommodation, recognising its environmental credentials. The accommodation team at the University have been at the heart of sustainability efforts including steam generated heating, giving contributions to leading charities such as British Heart Foundation and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.

Our onsite accommodation is close to all essential amenities including The Refectory for meals and a Co-operative in the nearby Leeds University Union.

Our campus accommodation is well-maintained, boasting a total of 459 ensuite bedrooms with floor to ceiling windows plus 23 accessible rooms for our visitors with disabilities. In addition, we can offer secure cycle storage should you wish to hire a bicycle during your stay with us.

Our staff are always happy to help, morning or night at our 24/7 reception desk.

If campus accommodation isn’t for you, we have carefully handpicked local Leeds hotels to recommend during your registration process based on defined criteria including accreditations, measuring initiatives and aligning values. You can find the full list of hotels on the conference website, accompanied by full details about their sustainability journey to help you find the right accommodation for you.

If you have any questions about booking accommodation for your visit to the Scenarios Forum 2025, please feel free to contact confadmin@leeds.ac.uk or contact the external hotels directly.
