As a Communications Officer, I develop and implement communications plans, finding the best way to convey the exciting climate work and impact of the Priestley Centre and its community with businesses, policymakers and the wider world, whether that’s on social media, through our newsletter or in the press. As part of this, I strive to break down complex academic concepts to make the information clear and accessible for those who want to learn more, without having to become a climate expert in the process!

Prior to joining Priestley, I worked in the central University Communications and Engagement team specialising in social media. Before that, I ran a small sustainable business handcrafting fashion and homewares from recycled materials, which I continue to do now in my spare time!
