Lauren Burton

One of my main roles as Communication and Engagement Intern is leading the ‘Ask A Climate Researcher’ project, which aims to provide accessible and empowering information on climate change. The Ask A Climate Researcher web resource is split into three sections: the science and impacts of climate change, actions to tackle climate change, and communicating about climate change. We also produced an associated series of short videos in 2022.

I also work on internal communications, including the weekly bulletin for our members.

Aside from my Intern role with the Priestley Centre, I am a PhD researcher in the School of Earth and Environment. My research explores what we can learn from warm periods in Earth’s history that is relevant to current climate change.
