Helen Claxton

Position
Project Manager

As Project Manager at the Priestley Centre for Climate Futures, I support both the Climate Evidence Unit and the University of Leeds United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). My role is all about keeping projects moving - from coordinating evidence reviews to ensuring our contributions to international climate processes are delivered on time and with impact.

I work closely with researchers and policy experts to translate knowledge into action. Before joining the Priestley Centre, I was Project Manager at the University of York, where I led a wide range of projects, from system implementation to embedding new policy. I am a qualified project manager with the Association for Project Management (APM), which underpins my approach to delivering complex initiatives and engaging diverse stakeholders.
