Ed Craig is currently CEO of the award winning, Edinburgh based clean tech spin-out company Carbogenics. He is a board member of WWF Scotland and Chairman and Director of Scotland’s oldest ecological charity the Centre for Human Ecology. Ed is best known as founder and former Director of Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation at the University of Edinburgh and founding and Directing China’s first sustainability focused higher education institution- the Low Carbon College.. He is widely viewed as a thought-leader through his extensive experience of building sustainability focused eco-systems, designing and leading innovation projects and forging broad global projects driving education and entrepreneurial solutions.
Ed worked with the Priestley Centre previously, regarding their strategic planning and their evolution to integrate innovation, entrepreneurship and education into their business plan for future development. This work directly informed the Priestley Centre’s new strategy, business model and approach in driving the development and application of science-informed solutions to the climate crisis regionally, nationally and globally.
