One year on from our launch in June 2016, the Priestley International Centre for Climate is marking its first birthday with a get together and prize giving that celebrates the best of climate research here at Leeds and internationally.

Our annual event is a chance for us to celebrate our progress as a world leading centre for solutions facing climate research. It includes a review of the year, research highlights, the launch of a new society and initiative to support promising scholars, news about our exciting plans for the future and the Piers Sellers prize giving.

And, of course, cake!

This is an internal event and is open to all University of Leeds staff and students interested in climate research.

Registration is from 15.00; the formal event commences at 15.30.

You are invited to join us for refreshments and posters in the Leeds University Business School foyer after the event, when we will also be recruiting for the new Priestley Society.

Places must be pre-booked; reserve your seat here
