COP27, the annual United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, took place in November 2022. Thousands of delegates gathered in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh to discuss action on climate change. The delegates have now returned to their home countries and organisations, bringing with them the final outcomes of the negotiations.

Now it is time to implement the resolutions made at COP27 and turn ambitions into actions. With COP28 in the United Arab Emirates on the horizon, we are looking to the future.

During this webinar, we will discuss how to build upon the outcomes of COP27, as a research community and beyond. We will then look towards COP28 and examine what needs to happen to ensure continued and ambitious progress on addressing climate change.
