Open Source Arts 1A, Aire Place Mills Kirkstall Road Leeds LS3 1JL
Presentation and discussion - public event
Jonathon Porritt

Jonathon Porritt, founder director of Forum for the Future, will discuss the book ‘The World We Made’ (Phaidon, 2013), a positive and optimistic vision of the future in 2050 written by fictional character Alex Mackay.

The talk is part of series of events funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering INGENIOUS outreach scheme.

An invitation-only workshop developing a vision of a zero carbon future will be taking place at the venue prior to this event. Following Jonathon’s talk there will be an open discussion session that will provide an opportunity to compare and contrast the vision in The World We Made with the vision co-created in the workshop, as well as for attendees to ask their own questions.

All are welcome to Jonathon Porritt’s talk and the discussion session, but booking is essential as places are limited.
