Increasing numbers of young people have been stepping up to take action on climate change and demanding more from governments and businesses. Many of these young people, and their schools, are turning to researchers for information, resources, and advice.

This seminar will explore aspects of climate change education, how to talk to young people about your climate research and different ways to get involved. We will be joined by Leeds DEC who are currently working with Dr Cat Scott to develop a climate curriculum for both primary and secondary schools. Jane Dickinson, Educational Engagement Lead Officer in the Faculty of Environment, will also share how the University of Leeds currently engages with young people and support available for researchers interested in doing so.

No need to register – just come along!
